Todd is a Kansas native and the fourth generation living on his family farm in Franklin County. Todd and his wife, Lynnett, have a commercial angus cattle and row crop operation there. He grew up hunting and fishing with his dad and grandfather and continues to do so now with his wife, 3 sons and their families. Blending ranching, farming and land and wildlife stewardship has always been important to Todd and his family, who were the recipients of the 2016 Kansas Bankers Award for Wildlife Conservation.
Todd and his wife attend Ottawa Bible Church in Ottawa, KS and he is a member and Past Master of Anchor Lodge #224 of Williamsburg, Kansas; a current board member and past Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce; a member of the Kansas Livestock Association, Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Professionally, Todd has always been connected to land. Todd received a degree in Land Surveying Technology from Kansas State University and in addition to being a licensed Real Estate Broker he is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. For 23 years he practiced boundary surveying and worked in all facets of community development. Todd served multiple terms on the board of directors of the Kansas Society of Land Surveyors and a two-year term as the president of that organization. The land surveying and civil engineering experience was a great segway into the real estate business. Todd brings not only a practical but also technical background to real estate. His attention to detail is key when working with customers, clients and the many other parties involved in real estate transactions such as title companies, attorneys, lenders, surveyors and regulatory authorities. For Todd, there is nothing more enjoyable than the relationships made through putting Sellers and Buyers together. He specializes in listing and selling hunting properties, farms and ranches in all of Kansas and Missouri and residential and commercial properties in east central Kansas.
